LHD Conversion Ongoing!

 

Since car has arrived i have been working with steering. I decided to move it from right side to left side. There is not any law what will require steering to be in left side, i just want to drive car from left side. Cars in Finland are normally all LHD´s

So couple past weeks i have been disassembling interior focusing in dash area.

 

 

 

ABS pump needs to be taken of also and move in to right side. Also window wiper motor needs to be moved away.

 

 

There is not much free space in GT-R´s engine bay.

 

 

Lots of parts taken away from car.

 

 

Original steering rack and Nissan Z32 steering rack side by side. I managed to find new and unused Z32 rack from Z-power. New rack is 99% bolt on into Skyline´s front cross member. Small modification to cross member is required. One hydraulic pipe output needs more space.

 

 

In the half way. I just have to put parts back in opposite places.
