Downpipe Challenge and First Test Drive!
Well, it was not big surprise that there will be challenge with downpipe. Steering linkage line goes just about middle of original downpipe line. Downpipe from rear turbocharger is OK, but problem is with front turbo.
I needed to do custom downpipe to be able to dodge steering linkages. I also find out that new outlet would be also required if i wanted to place bigger radius downpipe. No time for new outlets now, so i ended up doing “flattened” pipe.
Very tight fitment. There is under half centimeter free space.
Donwpipe inputs welded together.
Painted with high temperature paint.
Custom de-cat.
Plug for wideband AFR meter also welded in place.
Original heat shield used also.
First time in outside as an left hand drive car! Crispy -25 celsius winter weather is quite refreshing also.
Still little bit work to do with interior 🙂
