Glass Fiber Dashboard

Now when my plan to clue leather in to dashboard was doomed i decided to create totally new dashboard from fiber glass.

So first thing was to create mold from dashboard i have already created. And then create actual dashboard with that mold

This was my first fiber glass project ever. Now when i write this article i know that there is also product called gel coat… As you can see it´s not pretty but it will do the trick.

Dashboard fits perfectly inside car. It´s also easy attach missing components to it now. Just have to “clue” it with fiber glass.

Central console is also attached permanently in to dashboard.

I used product called “Noise Killer” inside dashboard. I thought it might silence potential creaks etc, what might occur.
